Home Again

I had an incredible two weeks in the UK, seeing family and being a tourist in London, and travelling all around the Scottish Highlands. While I hated to leave it is lovely to be home again, I have spent yesterday and today adjusting to the time difference and baking up a pumpkin flavoured storm! The pumpkin muffins just came out of the oven.
The recipe for those will be the next post, believe me it is worth the wait!
But for today I have some amazing photographs from my travels.
I started my trip off in Londontown where I have family. This is my third time there, but my first time as an adult! I had an incredible time being a part of the every day life of my cousins and sight seeing!
I was blessed with great weather almost my entire trip!
I did my best to hit up all the major landmarks.
Including Westminster Abbey (pictured above), St. Paul’s, The Tower . . . then off to Edinburgh!
I started my Scottish adventure.

An incredibly beautiful country with an amazing history I had one of the greatest weeks of my life exploring it.

I even climbed a mountain! This is me at the Old Man Storr rock formation.

Every mountain, every river, every valley had a story and our guide knew all of them. I did the Macbackpackers tour and I highly recommend them. I can’t think of a better way to see the highlands of Scotland and the tour attracts a really fantastic group of people.

I loved every minute of my time in Scotland! I finished my trip back in England with my family and it has only served to wet my appetite for travel. I am already thinking of the next place I want to explore!
